This table was built from natural edged red oak slabs. It is nine feet long and six feet six inches wide and stands thirty-two inches tall. Upon construction it weighed nearly 900 pounds so it breaks down into four pieces for transport with the removal of two wedges in the base and the custom welded brackets that hold the top on. The bench has built in storage and is built to wrap around the end of the table.
The clients needed to solve several issues when they commissioned this project. They have two boys sharing a fairly small room and needed to free up floor space, which we accomplished by going with bunk beds. They also needed to increase their space for storing books, we we incorporated bookshelves into the ends of the beds. The final wish was that they wouldn’t have a ladder hanging off the side taking up floor space and causing a trip hazard. We solved this by cutting cubbie holes into the sides of the bookshelves that can be used as a ladder. As you can see, the boys are happy with their new beds.
This table was made for an out of state customer who wanted something rustic, beautiful, and functional. It is made from locally harvested East Texas Oak and turned out gorgeous.

This customer wanted an elegant way to keep his rifles close by and ready to use without advertising their presence. This handsome side table does the job perfectly.
A friend of mine is a Pastor at Awaken Church in Clarksville, TN. When his church was flooded and their furniture was ruined I offered to make him whatever he needed. He requested some new offering boxes with a modern style. This is what I came up with. The front contains etched glass that was etched in our shop.
This cedar bench is a beautiful addition to our kitchen and allows us to have lots of friends around our table.
